While I know everyone seems to love distribution lists, it’s not my
favorite way to deal with group emails. However, I don’t want to
impose my beliefs on everyone so I’m including 3 different ways to
handle this. I just want to let everyone know of your options in
this area. I hope this helps! … Read More about Outlook Distribution List Question

Yahoo Go for Mobile service for access to contacts, calendar, tasks
If you want to find a simple solution where the client
does not need to leave the computer on when they leave, you may want
to consider utilizing the automatic sync capabilities between a
Yahoo calendar and a Blackberry or orchestrate this. When you update
thier Yahoo calendar it automatically shows up on thier Blackberry.
Then when the client returns home, you can sync the Blackberry to
Outlook to get everything up to date. The client needs to get a
Yahoo login and then either provide you with her login info, or you
also get a Yahoo login and she shares her calendar out to you with
full edit rights. … Read More about Yahoo Go for Mobile service for access to contacts, calendar, tasks
How voip or internet phone services will help the Virtual Assistant save money
VA’s need all the help they can get when trying to save money while they contact their clients. There are many pc-to-pc or voip services available, some with many cool features and allow the VA to call someone on a landline, or their client can call the voip service from a landline. Don’t need a 2nd phone line for your business and calls can either be free or very very cheap. For example, I’ve been training a lady in the UK. We’ve spent many hours on the phone cumulative, and it was completely free. We both used GoogleTalk. … Read More about How voip or internet phone services will help the Virtual Assistant save money

Five Things You Didn’t Know You Could Do with GoToMeeting
Here’s some great ideas taken from a recent GoToMeeting eNewsletter…
Five Things You Didn’t Know You Could Do with GoToMeeting
You know how cans of soup come with recipes on the labels? Well, here are a few recipes for using GoToMeeting, straight from the Citrix Online test kitchen.
1. Hold a virtual family reunion. Unable to get everyone together this summer? It’s not too late. Invite your kinfolk to an online gathering where they can share pictures, stories, recipes and news. It’s all the love without the food poisoning.
2. Conduct preliminary job interviews. Increase the range of your search by having candidates walk you through their portfolios or resumes online. They can even demonstrate their skills at using computer applications required for the job. Then, if you like what you see, you can invite them to come in for a second, face-to-face interview.
3. Revamp your latest marketing campaign. Work with remote colleagues and consultants on ad designs, copy and slogans without wasting time and money on travel. Plus, you can keep it confidential because your plans never leave your computer. No lost laptops or mockups to worry about – you show only what you want to and leave no copies behind.
4. Provide remote support. Help co-workers, clients or family members resolve technical problems from your home or vacation spot instead of dragging yourself in to the office (or your client’s office, or your Mom’s house). Screen sharing lets you work on their computers as if you were there, and you can even invite remote colleagues to give you a hand.
5. Show your face. Online meetings don’t have to be impersonal. Just share your Webcam window and let others see your smiling face. Or, put your favorite business photo on your desktop to show attendees what you look like (when you’re not at home holding meetings in your pajamas).

Reheat Pizza
Heat up leftover pizza in a non-stick skillet on top of the stove, set
heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy
micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works.
