So, how can this feature be used for real businesses? Imagine you’re attending a really wonderful conference, and you have just listened to a very motivating presentation that has you reeling with information, ideas, and inspiration that would benefit your blog readers. Why not capture that moment and those feelings right then and there with an on-the-spot blog post. You’ve got your mobile phone handy, ready, and waiting for you to use it. Once this feature is set up in your blog software, all you do is email the “secret” email address and BAM, you’ve got yourself a new blog post capturing all the excitement and feelings happening that very moment. How powerful is that?!?!?
I learned how to do this through Sherman Hu’s WordPress Tutorials program that I joined. This is a feature available with a self-hosted WordPress blog. I don’t know about WordPress.com blogs. I understand that Typepad offers the same thing.
