OK, I couldn’t stop buying annuals this year.  I kept seeing holes in color all over the place and felt the undeniable urge to fill them. Fortunately, my front yard was beyond beautiful in many spots that lacked the WOW factor in prior years.  I didn’t care if colors clashed. The brighter, the better.

However, I think I need to seek medical attention for my addiction to have the most colorful front yard in the neighborhood…

Planting Dates for Denver: Is It Safe Yet?

I have a stockpile going on. The last week I made the mistake of meandering through Lowes and Home Depot garden departments and purchasing annuals. I admit it…I’m drawn to bright colors. Red. Purple. Gold. Hot Pink. I love them. When these stores began displaying their flowers, well, I just couldn’t resist buying.

If you don’t have a greenhouse, that’s OK.
