How does it all work together?

Our virtual services are powered by the Web Conferencing services of GoToMeeting.com. All the training and assistant services utilize web conferencing features.

When you want to schedule a one-on-one training or assistance, simply send us an email or give us a call.

You + Us + Web Conferencing = A great hands-on training experience!

What will I be expected to do?

For all training and support, you will need to be able to download and install a web conferencing component on the PC you are using during training. We recommend that you log into the training prior to the time training is scheduled to start, just to make sure you can get in easily. If you are late, no big deal...simply join in when you can. We won't be able to backtrack for you though, so the sooner you join in the better.

Audio portion of the training: A conference call feature is used for group training. The service provides a toll-based number that is dialed by all meeting participants. Participants are then charged their standard long-distance rate for calling this toll-based number, just as if they made a regular long-distance call.  A simple, regular phone call is used for one-on-one sessions. Other one-on-one audio options are: Skype, GoogleTalk, or Windows Live Messenger. We participate in all three, so if you have accounts with any of these then we can use one of them for our meeting audio. Just let us know in advance which you would like to use. If you have an IP phone service not listed, just let us know and we'll look into installing and using it for our future sessions together.

What will I be expected to know before starting?

Our training does not cover basic computer usage.  You should be experienced in controlling your mouse and keyboard and be comfortable using the Internet.  All training is web-based and a knowledge of downloading items from the Internet is required

What if I can't connect to my Internet?

Of course there's really nothing we can do if you can't connect, however, we will offer you the option of rescheduling for another time at no additional cost. See policies for details and limitations.

What if I have trouble downloading the web conferencing component?

Since you only need to download the web component once, we're recommending you go through the process well in advance of the training or remote support sessions. Once you think everything is installed, get into a test session. GoToMeeting allows you to get in and test your ability to join a conference. We use this web conference service for our virtual training and assistance sessions. If you find you are having trouble, just let us know. If you do this early enough, we should be able to help resolve any issues in time to join the session. Preparing for the session ahead of time will assure you greater success in attending the session without incident.

What happens if your system is not available during our scheduled training session?

Let's face it...because training is done "live" and we are using a number of technologies all at once for the sessions, unexpected downtime could occur from time to time on our end. We will graciously give you the option of picking another time for training, or receiving a refund. Your patience and understanding will be greatly appreciated during those rare and unexpected times.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule a training session?

You can contact us directly and we will do it for you. If you need to cancel your spot in a scheduled group training class, simply email or call us. See our policies page for details.

In referring to Outlook training, what does "Type A" and "Type B" mean?

Type A means: Outlook for the power-user or single-person/small business in a stand-alone Outlook environment

Type B means: Outlook in the Exchange server environment where sharing and collaboration features will be explored

Can I get customized training for myself and/or coworkers?

The variety of our training courses should cover most areas users want to be trained in, however, we are more than happy to discuss your custom training needs that fall within our knowledge.

How much does it cost?

Remote one-on-one training and support as low as $25 / hour.

Remote Group training and support $250 / hour.

Projects start at $45 per hour. See price page.

What are my payment options?

We take PayPal, credit cards, money orders, and cashier's checks. You can feel secure in submitting payment via our secured website. You have plenty of options.

Am I able to contact you directly to make payment?

Yes! Email us for support  or call us at 303-857-5228 (toll free 866-854-9550). We can take your credit card information and submit it manually.

Will you give, rent, or sell my personal information to anyone?

Absolutely not! You can rest assured that we keep your information completely confidential.  Also, we do not keep credit card information on file.

How secure is your shopping cart?

When personal information (such as a credit card number) is captured or transmitted to other Web sites (our shopping cart processor), it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
