Top Benefits Of Rewriting Your PLR Articles For Blog Content

By AndreaKalli

PLR articles (Private Label Rights) can be a big help to you as a source of content for your blog or website. They can supplement your own original content. Using PLR articles will save you a lot of time that you would otherwise have to spend on researching and writing. To be truly beneficial though, they need to be rewritten into unique content so your blog post or webpage will get higher google ranking.

You see, PLR articles have one major disadvantage. By posting an unaltered PLR article on your site, you will have duplicate content. That means hundreds or maybe even thousands of other websites will have the exact same article posted. When a web surfer enters a search term into Google that causes the PLR article to be returned, you have to compete against all those other copies of the article for a top google ranking. If your website has unique content, it cuts down the competition, and you have a better chance of getting visitors to your article.

In order to have unique content on your website, you have to write an original article, or alter a PLR article so it is unique. You’ll find it is much quicker to rewrite a PLR article because it eliminates research time. You can save even more time by using a service like www.need-an-article.com. I use and LOVE them, and I recommend them to my clients and anyone else I know looking for help with article writing. I’ve always been happy with the level of quality they provide in their work. They will rewrite your PLR articles for you at an affordable rate (it’s even more affordable than you ever thought possible). In fact, it may even be more cost effective to pay for the writing service than it would be to invest the time and effort into rewriting the articles yourself.

By hiring someone to rewrite your articles, you can still maintain control over the quality and subject of the article since the writer will be working from material that you supplied. Rewriting a PLR article makes it become unique content in the eyes of the search engines. You can assure yourself that the article is unique by running it through a duplicate content checker like Copyscape. An unaltered PLR article will probably return dozens or hundreds of matches. An article that is rewritten well will have zero matches, and is a candidate for high google ranking.

Be cautious though of using article-spinning software. Some, like Unique Article Wizard, are actually useful. This software takes rewritten PLR articles and rearranges the paragraphs. You first need to have your articles rewritten in a specific way, which you can have done through Need-an-Article. Most other rewriting software on the market simply jumbles words around or substitutes words using a built-in thesaurus. This results in articles that do not make sense and border on being gibberish. While you may get unique content from them, you will not gain credibility with your web visitors and your site may, be penalized with lower google rankings.

Buying sets of PLR articles that match the niche of your blog is a good idea because it is a quick way to get targeted content. However, before you post an article to your blog, have it rewritten into unique content for SEO purposes. After all, content will do you no good if it never sees the light of day on Google. To get high google rankings, you need to comply with the basic time tested rules of search engine positioning. One of those important rules is to offer web surfers informative and unique content.

Thank you for the encouragement to use PLR. The packages do give a writer a headstart on a post or article. You’ve inspired me to re-purpose some PLR that I have worked with but could use more effectively.

You’re welcome JudyAnn. I know sometimes it may feel like using PLR articles is somehow cheating, but nothing could be farther from the truth when used properly. Good PLR articles are definitely available, you just have to know where they are. I like http://www.constant-content.com (shout out to VAClassroom for sharing this resource).
