First off, I’d like to give Helen Bradley full credit for showing me how to do this. I took what she showed me, and added applying a gradient stroke and using the Warp Text tool in Photoshop to add more interest to it. The purpose of creating these transparent text cutout images is for adding them as overlay items in the Explaindio Video Creator, VideomakerFX, Sony Vegas, iMovie, PowerPoint, and more. Then, you can add a background video that plays and shows through the cut out text using your video tools. It’s a really cool technique to add to your videos. Try it out!
As an extra note: I did discover that another way to turn the background layer in Photoshop to a regular layer, is to convert it into a Smart Object. So simple.
