To create a Milestone, simply click on “Event, Milestones +” in the status update bar. You will have the option to enter an event, the location, the date, and a brief summary or story.
Highlighting a Post
The Facebook Timeline also makes it possible for the user to highlight certain posts. Highlighting a post will make it expand across the page. It draws more attention to the update and is a useful tool in letting customers know which items are important and relevant.
The Highlight feature can be used to put a spotlight on customer testimonials or positive feedback. To highlight a post, click on the star icon at the top right portion of the update. Clicking on the same icon will un-highlight the post if you so desire.
