Discover More About Web Promotion – Useful Tips

Increasing Your Website Traffic

Do you want to drive more people to your web site, but you find yourself in confusion when you read about all the SEO tactics? One option is to use something like Web Linking Services for website traffic at www.seolinkmart.com -(Please note: the site this link takes you to appears to be a link farm and might actually hurt your google ranking – so if you do decide to use a web linking service, please proceed with caution and be informed about all your options).

Actually, my preferred method is to build links through authority sites. Yes, it takes longer, but it is well worth it. A few back-links from high authority sites is worth much more than dozens of links that don’t really mean much. Using this method requires that you spend the time to get links from sites that compliment your site and what it’s about. A perfect example of such a technique is to make quality comments on blogs and forums. Another is to write articles and put them on sites such as EzineArticles, Hubpages, and Squidoo. You’ll use your Resource Box in EzineArticles, and you’ll need to include a link to your website when you create a new hub or Squidoo lens.

What is an authority site? Taken from the Authority Site Center:

Authority Sites…

… are many of the sites you have bookmarked. They are trusted resources, regularly updated, and respected above most others in their niche by their visitors and peers.

They are high traffic, topical, unique content sites that provide information, products and services that their particular niche is searching for. Authority sites have a high percentage of regular visitors, not just one-time visitors. They build large lists of dedicated users and customers.

Authority sites by definition get much respect from search engines and from natural link partners. (Sites link to them without being asked and without asking for a link back.)

Authority sites are very active, dynamic places where information flows and visitors come back often to see what’s new. “

One indication of high-authority site is to look at the page rank. Authority sites generally have a high page rank because of the large number of links pointing to them. The Google toolbar offers an easy way for you to see a site’s page rank.

Having a great looking website does not bring home the bacon. There is much more involved in the marketing of your website, optimization of your website pages alone is not going to cut the mustard. Your website will need back-links pointing to your website, preferably from high-authority sites.

One thing to always remember when it comes to search engines, quality back-links are the life blood of your website promotion. But actually getting these links is one of the most difficult things to do online.

Bidding Directories do offer you the option of many one-way incoming links. With the help of the Bidding Directories you will be placing your link in the appropriate category/section of that directory, the directory also displays links alphabetically, and lets you bid your way to the top of the list. Increase your bid to take a top position, and not only will your link list higher in the directory, but you could join the link leaders on the homepage, not to mention these directories are widely promoted and well established directories of premium bidding websites.

Directories offer affordable ways to receive deep links to your website while also categorizing all listings and displaying them in order of contribution received. This allows webmasters to gain a quality link for their site and increase their bid to appear higher up in their chosen category. By being the top bidder for your link, you will have the opportunity to have your link displayed on every page of the directory.

Links get results. Link popularity for websites is one of the most important factors in search engine rankings.

Increasing the number of back-links to your Web site can get your site listed higher in search engine results, thus bringing more visitors to your site, and improving your site’s overall strength.

As the owner of a website you will not need to get always puzzled about how to promote your site better which is a mind blowing task. Link bidding is a terrific approach to getting the word out on your website. A bid directory offers webmasters the opportunity to bid on a sponsored spot. After you submit specific details about your website, your bid will also determine how much PR your website will receive.

With all that said and done, don’t forget that quality content is very, VERY important. The combination of great information and content on your site, PLUS some quality back-links from high-authority sites is the perfect combination to help you rank higher in the search engines.

Andrea,
Isn’t a quality link defined by a sites page rank? This looks like nothing more than a link farm (which can actually hurt your google rating). Isn’t the idea to do a search and see the pages that are ranking high, and try to get them to link to you? Yes these are categorized, but (and please correct me if I’m wrong) wouldn’t you get as much juice from commenting on a blog?
