Facebook Marketing: Are You Using It In Your Business?

As a business owner, you know that you are constantly wondering how you can attract more clients. If you own an online business, the answer to your traffic problem is internet marketing. You need to remember that without marketing, you will never be able to get targeted traffic into your website. Today, any kind of business, whether online or offline are now using internet marketing in order to expand their reach for new customers.

By far, the most influencial authority about using Facebook for your business is Mari Smith.  Known as an avid Facebook and Twitter user, Mari is one of the most dynamic and down-to-earth personalities I’ve ever had the pleasure of talking to. She and I did a podcast not too long ago about about the relationship between virtual assistants and business professionals when it comes to social media marketing. What’s great about Mari is that she offers varied levels of consulting, training, and support. From her free Why Facebook blog to her programs for Facebook for Professionals, you cannot go wrong by checking out her various sites. I guarantee after a half-hour browsing around her blog you’ll come away with at least one thing you didn’t know before. She is an amazing resource.

Facebook Marketing: Are You Using It in Your Business?
Internet marketing is not quite as easy as it may sound. You have to consider the fact that you need to work hard in order for you to attract targeted traffic into your website. You need to make a lot of good articles to read that is related to the products or services that you are selling and you also need to join forums and the discussions in it. Also, you need to get your website to be attractive.

Whatever you are selling, internet marketing is a hard task to do, but when it works, it is well worth the effort and money. If you find yourself in a situation where it is taking up way too much of your own time that you should be spending on building your business, you might consider seeking the help of a Certified Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant. They can help with many areas, such as Web Analytics, Search Engine Marketing, Blogging, Podcasting, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, and even Affiliate Marketing assistance.

Thanks to social networking website, such as Facebook, you will see that internet marketing is easier than ever before for connecting with and building your business relationships. First of all, in all social networking websites, Facebook is one of the most popular websites. Here, you will already have the numbers you need. This means that it already has traffic. With millions of subscribers logging and out each day and also millions more registering each day, you can be sure that you will be able to get your fair share of targeted traffic in this website.

In Facebook, you will see that all kinds of people with different social backgrounds join. Also, the members themselves will try to separate themselves from distinct groups. The fact that Facebook will allow people to create and join groups you will be able to easily find your target customers.

Whether the group is separated by age, school, gender or interests, you will see that you will find all sorts of groups here in Facebook.

Another great thing about Facebook is that it will provide every member with the tools needed in order to communicate with their network. These tools can be considered to be great tools for you to use in order to advertise or market your products or services to other Facebook subscribers. From applications to news feeds and blogs, and even providing a way to include an opt-in webform on your front page, you will see that Facebook will be able to provide it all.

Teaching Sells: Turn Your Knowledge into Income with Membership Sites

Most of you know that my virtual assistant practice is based on training and application support. A few weeks ago I was introduced to a program by Yaro Starak that teaches people just like me (and possibly you) how to take your knowledge and turn it into income by building membership sites. It’s called “Teaching Sells”.  I’ll just bet that many of you, and even your clients, have been thinking about how to implement this very thing. So, not only could you create these for yourself, but you could do this for your clients as well. It is a monthly subscription site, but they have so much available right away that you could get a lot out of the program in the first month and could stop subscribing after that if you like.  I was so impressed with what they offered, I decided to become an affiliate and have included the link below.

“Discover How to Create Membership Websites That Sell With These Five Step-by-Step Training Courses”

Teaching Sells is your step-by-step guide to getting started in the future of paid content today. These courses (with more to come) will provide you with a complete methodology for building membership sites that sell, as well as teaching you how to sell just about anything online.

Initial courses include:

1) How to create content that sells

2) How to effectively market interactive learning environments

3) How to create killer multimedia content with quick and easy tools

4) Seven profitable business models for interactive content developers

5) Your blueprint for building membership sites with open-source and low-cost software

If you’re interested in this kind of thing, check them out.

Rank #1 on Google and Make Sales using a Business Blog

Still not sure if having a business blog is all it’s cracked up to be? Think again. It is an effective way to market your business, services, and products. Just don’t use it as a hard-sell strategy. You have to be willing to give a little (information) to get a little (or a lot of sales).

I thought I would share this real-life event with you.

This morning I posted a new article on my blog/podcast site, “Top 20 Ways To Use SharePoint Effectively”.

A special thanks to Karen Reddick of The Red Pen Editor for helping me to re-write this article.   I didn’t want to post duplicate content from a similar article that I did on the same subject in a different location. BTW, she’s great to help you repurpose your material.

Anyway, I did an audio podcast on the topic and included it with the blog post, and in the audio I mentioned a special coupon for my SharePoint training video course but they would need to come to the blog site to get it. This is especially crucial for those that subscribe to the podcast, but don’t get around to visiting the website that it’s posted on. About 90% of my podcast listeners come from iTunes.

The blog post was picked up by Google within a few hours of being postedI’ve received several sales from it so far today.
