Anti-Penalty Link Audits Aided by New Feature in SEO SpyGlass

I sure am enjoying digging into the new feature of SEO SpyGlass to help identify problematic (and potentially dangerous) external links coming into a website.

“Protect/Recover your site from Google link penalty
with new Anti-Penalty Link Audit feature in SEO SpyGlass.”

The feature allows me to tap into an easy to read, color-coded Penalty Risk percentages for all incoming links to any website, and to determine if further action is warranted. The url list provided is easy to grab if you’re updating the disavow file that you submit to Google.

I found this tool a dream when trying to pinpoint any incoming links that might be causing a website’s ranking to falter in Google’s search results. It’s quite surprising when you see links you had no idea even existed, so you can evaluate them and determine your next steps to take.

If you find yourself tasked with the job of identifying and cleaning up a client’s link profile, performing an anti-penalty link audit with this tool will help save you a ton of time.
