The above blog post was a voice message from my mobile phone, sent to Jott, transcribed by Jott, and posted by Jott to my blog. Wow! I’m thinking this is a great way to easily post something new to your blog through your mobile phone…without having to type! Speech to text, baby! That’s what I’m talkin’ about. Setting it up in Jott was very easy. I have the Jott phone number in my mobile phone speed dial, too.

Here was the process:

  1. Press 4 on my mobile phone
  2. Tell Jott “Wordpress blog” (that’s the name I gave my blog in Jott)
  3. Jott confirms
  4. Speak my message that I want to post. (You only have a maximum of 30 seconds, so it can’t be a long post. It helps if you know in advance what you’re going to say, like a script)
  5. Stop talking and Jott confirms that you’re done.
  6. Hang up.

Doesn’t get any easier than that :)

Happy blogging!

Either way, time is ticking away and you are running to catch up. At some point, you just
